Comments:
Lonnie,

I would like a postcard from all the places you go to in 2009.

Lonnie,

I forgot to give you my address:

Anonymous
1 Main Street
Lebanon, Kansas 66952

what have you learned from these travels in one sentence?

All Rounder:

For foreign countries:

The overwhelming majority of foreigners -- especially in the largest Muslim country on the planet, Indonesia -- are indifferent to America, rather than actively disliking us.

For the USA:

I'm happy that I can find common ground with most people I meet in this country -- even the fat, old, and conservative.

Lonnie, I think you and I are getting to be fat and old, UH OH! Palin 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See you in Cairo, Lagos, Santiago, Dakkar, Capetown, Tangier, Ponce, Accra, Medellin and maybe Havana in 2009!

It would be my pleasure to buy you and your lovely wife a cup of coffee to repay you for the years of entertainment thru your blog.

At some point in the future perhaps archeologists will uncover this post and finally be able to place plaques at each of these locations indicating that "Lonnie Bruner slept here."
